more tweaking

Please pardon the mess. I had hoped to do more cleanup right away, but I’m taking my Grandmother to the hospital* tomorrow and realised I should totally be in bed.

In happier news: FLIP FLOP!!!

Leftie!

I actually hate flip flops. All of them. The sounds they make. The pain they cause. The in-between the toes discomfort and odd shapes they come in. I hate all flip flops except this one and its twin. It’s comfy, it fits my weird feet, it makes no ridiculous clippity-cloppity racket while I walk. I will be honest: there are times when all you need or want are flops.

In my most recent move, I had Rightie in my closet with my other two pairs of runners and the pair of sandals I’ve had since grade eight. Leftie was nowhere to be found! I was crushed. I looked everywhere. I asked everyone. Nothing. Yet I never gave up hope!! I steadfastly refused to toss Rightie because I knew, someday, that Leftie would return. Oh happy day! Night. Whatever.

I left Leftie by my parents’ pool. I’m not sure when or how I managed to leave with only one of them, but that is a mystery I will not concern myself with. Unless it happens again. Then I’d really have to question my ability to focus and attention to my person. Seriously. Who leaves without a shoe?

*routine. Nothing catastrophic! Fingers crossed, anyway.

Hmm. I like that you seem to be bringing out your inner wargamer, though it is a tad bright. Perhaps a grey all over?
I can totally agree with despising flip-flops or even sandals. They are killer on feet despite the open air comfort. As well as leaving one open to ant bites, thorns, and itch causing weeds.

lol. How does this relate to my inner wargamer? And maybe your monitor’s brightness is too high, or I’m just too awesome (not really)? ;)

I can’t stand off-whites but I’ll see what I can do when I get back to CSS editing tonight!

I was referring to the hexgrid pattern, which inspired flashbacks to the Panzer General demo.
Also I was free-basing ideas. It wasn’t a hard suggestion. I just personally prefer the grey border around the body as opposed to the more blueish look that is around the grey border.

I would pay cash money to have Jenn write about the new Panzer General remake. The cursing alone would make it worth every cent.
