I swear I don’t like the movie just because Paul Gross plays ‘Chris Cutter’. Even if you don’t like curling — or, like most of the world, don’t know a single thing about it except for SWEEEEEEEEEP! — you should check it out. Heck, see if you have a local curling club and pop in. It’s a blast! Yes, I do watch the Tournament of Hearts and The Brier and Olympic Curling, but that’s not important right now*.

with Brooms”, a 12 episodes series that serves as a sequel to the
Canadian film by the same name, released in 2001, telling the story of
a curling team from Long Bay, Canada. They are not what one would call
“great players”, but there’s no doubt that they try hard… and love
the sport.The series has Gary (Brendan Gall), the team’s unlucky “skip”; Matt
(William Vaughan), the stupid best friend; Pramesh (Anand Rajaram),
the excentric newbie and owner of a donut sales business; and the
manager of the curling club, Bill (Joel Keller), an aspiring “alpha
male” that usually passes as needy instead.The movie, from 2002, was one of the most watched in Canada, one of
their biggest productions, and won many awards. And it even had Leslie
