Granted, I’d be happy with just about any Playseat, but I must again confess my love for Red Bull Racing. Actually, just about all RB branding has been pretty solid. I love Crashed Ice (lost out on the lottery to qualify this year >_<), the photos are awesome, their videos are fun, and, oh yeah, the drinks are good. The only RB thing that I hated recently was their free iPhone Augmented Reality Racing app. Force me to login to facebook to use it? Fail. Deleted. It’s a cool idea, but I won’t use it. I keep threatening to make a fake fb account for these increasingly common things, but I never get around to it. Oh well. It doesn’t make me want that sweet, sweet seat any less. Never mind how prohibitive the base cost of PlaySeats are, it’s the shipping and then customs that kills you ;_;

Have you ever used a racing seat? I like the concept but they seem like they would be uncomfortable in the long term.
The hard plastic ones suck and you’ll want out after a short race. The comfy ones are amazing and the combined position of the seat, wheels, and pedals (when properly configured) are amazing and let you just focus on driving. The good ones are eons ahead of icky & boxy arcade ones :)
