That, my friends, is the centre of a bruise on my right foot. It is just behind the big toe on the bone. The rest of the foot, including the big toe, is full of oh-so-many colours. None of those colours being the actual colour of my foot except for the centre of the purple thing up there. See, here’s what happened…
I wanted to move a table to my office because my desk was overrun with papers, markers, peripherals, consoles, and more papers. It was hard to move my mouse around, let alone move it to my right hand when playing certain games. Enter: a table! Savior of all that is cheap green coloured ‘wood’ (shut up, I love my desk). The part that I totally forgot, and you all know is coming, was that the table consists of two halves and they are joined together by gravity and some lame teeth and hole system. Turn the table sideways and, halfway to the destination, gravity (and the table half) will crush your foot. GENIUS.

I actually my foot smashed on Tuesday or so, but the doc was able to see me the next day to help prove that nothing was broken, no permanent harm done, and I’m still a moron. Walking the dog has been fun this week. I don’t get to play hockey tonight, either. I’ve spent most of the week drowning in self-pity and ice* and trying to get the game collection ready for selling.
There’s been a large internal debate about whether to use ebay (no) or craigslist (maybe later) or kijiji (I guess if there’s still stuff left over), but I thought I’d be better to just post it here on the site for you guys to sort through first. This way I’ll know they’ll all go to good gaming homes to be loved once more!! Yes, that is important to me. I am using ebay-ish prices for a baseline, but most will be cheaper because I like you guys :)
*the ice gel stuff does not work nearly as well as it used to years ago. I assume they all had to change the formulas from when I used to abuse use it as a competitive athlete. The original Deep Cold would freeze your finger the second you dipped it in. Now there’s a faint sense of coolness by virtue of gel being wet. What a let down.

I can totally relate. Smashed my index finger in a door two weeks ago and is only now beginning to not hurt. Of course I keep aggravating it by forgetting to feed a St. Bernard with the good hand. Happy Thoughts!
