Yay Victoria Day (mostly)

While most people celebrate by going out to a cottage or something for the weekend, I hit the Conan show and helped my brother organize his new place. And now I’m sick. My brother is ridiculous. ALWAYS RIGHT. It’s both handy and annoying. Back on Friday he said that I was sick (the physical, not mental kind) and I scoffed at him. Scoffing is fun. I highly recommend it. Anyway, I really did feel fine for the next two days but today, around 4pm, I had one of those “wtfoshit” moments while oot and aboot and that was not fun. You never want to be outside of your own place for those kinds of feelings. Deciding I’d rather risk puking in the car — mostly because it wasn’t mine and I wasn’t driving ;) — we headed back to my place and it’s been a less-than-lovely few hours. Bummer. It’s not like I have anything that requires me to get out of the house much this week, but I sure as hell don’t want to spend much more of it like this! So, uh, hopefully this is a great excuse to get more gaming.

It’s 31C and I am sitting here in a Halo Reach hoodie with a massive quilt and lots of water. Wooo. And, again, I really need some Pokemon peeps to trade with! Did none of you really pick up the game??? On the plus side, that’s probably 100+ hours you saved right there :)

Since I still haven’t picked option 1 or 2 for my getting my DS/Wii online, I just keep reinstalling the old wifi program in compatibility mode to check on trades and messages. People make ridiculous requests on the Global Trade Station. No, I will not give you a level 100 legendary for a Ponyta, thankyouverymuch. Heck, if I could find someone to trade me an ANYTHING that was holding an Oran berry I’d be pretty happy about now. My ridiculous requests involve getting all the starters (multiples if I can swing it) from all the games possible but I know I’m more likely to get those from a rom hacker rather than anyone legitimate. Alas.

Oh grindy grindy pokey-mans.
I got part way through original Region 1 Red before deciding it wasn’t the game for me.
Has much changed in the intervening years to make it “fun”? Would it be all right to
put the pokewalker on my dogs collar? Perhaps if I ride around in a car with worn suspension?

Nyquil is the all purpose ill-person’s helper. I go with the LiquiCaps when I don’t feel I can hold down the drank.
