Had to send back the jersey. Sadly, I won’t be able to replace right now, they lack the size I want, but life goes on. At least my hat finally arrived!

What can I say? I love practice gear. There’s gonna be a lot of hockey talk over here since the Draft Lottery is tonight (oy) and the Playoffs kick off (yay!). But, first, I feel the need to share my new mug with the world. Do you know who Gino Reda is? You should if you are Canadian sports fan! He’s been on TSN for nearly as long as I’ve been alive. I miss the sport jackets a little ;)
These mugs were available as a promotion to raise money for Haiti and, well, I had to go for it. Good cause, great mug. Shipping took forever since the guy actually signed each and every one of them. Twitter search is pretty awful so I don’t have the time to find the pic of him signing this massive stack of mugs, so take my word for it. It looks like some people ended up with the regular mug with a separate picture. Wow. People must have ordered a TON of mugs! Awesome.

And, of course, I would be remiss if I didn’t include some of the wonderful recent SportsCentre nonsense, ably provided by Jay Onrait and Dan O’Toole. I’ve had that music in my head for days. Now it’s your turn.
Those guys make it worth watching tv at 2am… or catching the morning loop. <3.

As you say, a good cause. My nephew was down there, coordinating some of the aid from the Canadian Forces.
Okay….less hockey, more gaming:)
It’s playoff time, Datastorm. There will be more hockey, I’m sure. It’s one of Jenn’s other great passions and I love it when she writes about it.
Also, Onrait and O’Toole make me miss TSN. Reda, too.
As much as I love the Olympics, her tweets and posts made it that much more fun.
I’m not much of a hockey fan, but I gotta say, ‘Go Bruins’ :D
@Troy:
I think Jenn can answer for herself, she’s a big girl:)
I usually put a smiley face after my posts that I’m not really too serious about, just for future reference….
Colin, thanks for finding the photo. And that’s wonderful that your nephew was helping out in a real hand-on way!
As for me? Hockey | Gaming | Geek, woo :)
