Ow, my mirror

I awoke at 6:30am to drive my Grandma downtown for an early appointment at a downtown hospital. We finally got to leave at 11 and go back on Friday for some results (cross your fingers here). I can deal with that, it’s a part of life right now. What I didn’t need on top of that was for the desperately needed get-the-salt-offa-my-car wash to crush my driver’s side mirror. My dealer wanted ~$400 to fix just the bottom part of it. Instead I went to my local dear mechanic, who has helped me out since I could drive, and they glued it back on for me. Woo. Ish. I’m still annoyed about the whole thing.

It’s been a difficult day and it’s nice to just sit and chill with some sushi. How did it take me so long to see that spicy tuna is actually good?? I generally hate tuna but I got spicy tuna by accident and, lo, it was good. Mmm…

AND ANOTHER THING

I forgot to mention this earlier. Much earlier. At 4am this morning I found myself staring out the window into the darkness to see what the hell was going on. I think that if you decide you are going to back in a truck to the building and move in at this hour then everyone in the complex should be allowed to drop water balloons on your inconsiderate asses. It’ll be great! Like rain but more fun. I wonder how fast people would be able to bring in a couch in the dark while being pelted from all sides by invisible enemies in the sky. We don’t get sleep, you don’t get dry furniture. Of course we’d use latex-free balloons; no one wants to be unfair here.

At least I finished my laundry. Now I need to go shoot some bandits in the head in Borderlands to make myself feel better before I fall asleep at my desk :)
