I did realize a second too late that I should have made it more of a day long thing, both because it would spread the good word farther and give people who don’t always check twitter every 30 seconds* a chance. Live and learn!
Ooh, neato. In Windows 7 Steam shows the download progress as part of the taskbar icon. This amuses me.
*This was not a shot against the winning parties as I am so very guilty of this procedure. So much so that it could be named after me (ok, not really). It has become my procrastination method of choice these days alongside Pangya.
I had succeeded at breaking my TF2 addiciton. Didn’t even reinstall it. Now I’m re-dling it… :)

Bah humbug, I don’t play computer games any more. Their far too time consuming. I remember Half Life 2 when it came out. From afternoon to late morning the next day, never again though.
