Woo, weekend

I have NO IDEA what happened to this week. On Sunday I polished off the achievements in Lego Batman. Monday I, uh… how sad is it that I’m trying to remember where the hell this week went by backscrolling through twitter and facebook? They weren’t much help in this case. I know I took a few nights to go out. Wait, that’s not true. That was last week. I went out last night though and it was soooooo worth it.

Kathy Greenwood, Jayne Eastwood, Robin Duke, and Jayne Eastwood

Women Fully Clothed (Kathy Greenwood, Jayne Eastwood, Robin Duke, and Jayne Eastwood) = win. Even I had forgotten just how good these guys are. Hell, I’m tempted to drive to Sault Ste Marie tomorrow to see them again. It’s a very expensive and tiring option so I have to hope that they do another date closer to Toronto. There are still tickets for the November Oakville show but I’m really prissy when it comes to seating. I am short, see, and it’s really annoying to drop lots of money on a ticket to see all these heads in my way. I might grab one of the corner seats in Oakville for November but we shall see. edit: I HAVE SEEN. I bought a seat :)

So I have no idea what took all my time this week outside of family stuff. I didn’t even get to capture the gaming footage I need for the show nor polish off the new site. I’m happy with the new site so far. It’s a solid framework that should make it idiot-proof to find the show you are looking for right away. I also have to make some flash versions of the archives so that everything is semi-uniform. Don’t worry, I’ll still be updating the feeds and have everything available to download. I haven’t completely forgotten how this whole ‘vidcast’ thing is supposed to work ;)

I’m actually taking off for a fancy dinner shortly to meet up with my dearest oldest friend to discuss technical filming details — so the show doesn’t look as bad as it has up to now. I mean, I want to make it more dynamic, actually move the camera around (*gasp*), and add in some different topics that I never touched on before — and set building. Woo.

Thus, in lieu of anything of note to add, here’s a video! The whole series is really great. Glad to see the Muppets back in action again, even if it’s just for some commercials.
