right, Wii Ghostbusters

I nearly typed “Lego Ghostbusters” and then wished it was a reality. That would be sweet.

On twitter @JuliusTheOrange asked “How does it compare to the XBox 360 version?” I’d like to expand on the 140 character answer.

I consider it a whole new game, really. I know where the game is headed, of course, but it feels new and fresh. I think having some time away from my obsession with the 360 version certainly helps avoid comparing them directly. The art assets are completely different and the exaggerated cartoon style really works on the Wii. Waving the wiimote amount to aim the proton pack is almost as much fun as I hoped it would be, even without a wicked huge big screen to play it on! As I mentioned yesterday, I do have to work on some ‘fine motor control’ issues. I’m playing through on Gozerian difficulty (hard/expert) and it kinda feels like a joke. I’m just out of the hotel so there’s plenty of time for things to ramp up. I’m even hearing some lines that I don’t remember hearing in the 360 version, which has been a lovely bonus. And I get to be a female rookie. In short, I’m having lots of fun :)
