It’s the little things that can make you feel like a genius. I wish I took a picture but today was the first time I ever attempted to make eggs over-easy (runny yolk ftw. I am totally with solid yolk when I am in the mood but it’s not my preference) and it came out perfect. Much to my surprise, I might add. Usually my first attempts at cooking random things end in disaster and a messy kitchen. Of course, the second after I slid the eggs onto my plate I realized, for the second time, that I lack bread and OH, A TOASTER. Using crackers as a substitute for bread was a poorly conceived idea and I should have gone for the solid yolk today. It was very tasty on the whole.
update: there was a second part to this post that I’ve decided to hold back until I complete more research so it’s not just a rant but a slightly more reasoned discussion about some current gaming trends. I do hope this will spark some discussion since I would love to hear how others feel about this particular subject and anything remotely related to it. Topics range from a mix of retail and homebrew as well as a flashback to older days of consoles and the often unreasonable limits we face today. I feel very strongly about these topics but I don’t want to shoot my mouth off without some ammunition ;)

The secret to a good fried egg is a lower temperature. Most people overcook their eggs.

Charlie: I hope it does turn out interesting instead of a meandering half-thought out rant :)
