Fine, so it’s not much of a countdown since it’s tomorrow but that doesn’t lessen the excitement! I’m also excited that my site is back up. My apologies for the outage.
The first and likely non-annual BATMAN DAY has been organized* to freakin’ finally complete Lego Batman. I may not be able to achieve 1000 points — and these points DO matter, hehe — since I have also declared that I totally get to sleep in on BATMAN DAY. There are perks to designing your own holiday. I highly recommend it.
I’m also going to try some various methods to webcast parts of it. No time is set for this new experiment on BATMAN DAY since I get to sleep in. It’s gonna be bliss! I already completed the hero campaign but I’m not very far with the bad guys. Lego Batman blows away Lego Indy, it’s not even a contest, but it’s also more limited because they tried to stay true to the source material. This makes a lot of the game really repetitive and feel almost like grinding. Nightwing, however, is made of awesomesauce so I look forward to using him to go back for all the minikits that I am more than happy to skip during my regular playthrough. I’ve missed a good chunk of the powerblocks, too.
