If you’ve never had a gaming backlog you are probably waaaaaaaaay smarter than I have ever been.
How many games do you normally play at once? Do you work on one until it’s done (or you’ve had enough) and then move on to the next?
How many games are in your backlog RIGHT NOW? How far back do they go? Some of my backlog includes many PS2 games and even two from the PS1 era that I still intend to play. What are you gonna do about your backlog, if anything?

I have a few ps2 games that I need to finish (blew up my ps2 ooops) and right now I have 6 PC games installed and waiting for me to finish them as well as 4 360 games and 6 ps3 games. so I can survive a pretty heavy drought in good games. Thankfully there seems to be no drought coming this fall. Question: is it fanboy-ism if you are geeking out about games on 4 different platforms but ravenous about them? lol
Right now I have Dead Space, and Red Faction on the 360. I wanted to finish those before Beatles RB. Oh well.

More then I can count. They goes as far back as I can find “something” to run them on. I like having them around in case the impulse to play a certain one strikes me. I spent the first half of the new decade rounding up all the PC games I missed in the ’90s and the next half filling out the console collection I had to ignore. Now I just need a few lifetimes to actually complete them. Mostly I just jump from one to the other, rarely finishing single-player unless it’s short.
I finish every review game (for my own site, also posting daily news on the website of a dutch TV gameshow) i recieved for 100% and then move on to the next one. For recreation i play my games out when i have time for it
Atm i am bussy to get the 10003 kills achievement with Battlefield Bad Company, playing this now for almost two months every free single moment when i can. still need 3400 frags and then call it a day.
I have a big pile with games that people gave me and that i bought and dying to play. Alone in the Dark is a good example now, bought that one for 5 euro (think that $3 us). My oldest game that i have laying around here and i still need to play is Kameo that i got when i bought my Xbox 360 way back in 2006. Also have Monster Hunter for the PSP i would love to give a try.
On a quik count i think is have around 20 games here (most stil even sealed) that i still need to play, then i have around twice (i dont want to brag about my X360 collection :P) that much i still need to finish for 100% and grinding out on the Achievements. Almost forgotm i need to finish God of War 2 on the PS2 and Chains of Olympus on the PSP.
So much games (all legal) and barley time to play them :( but i will catch up on a lot during the hollyday season, if i am not to bussy to play Modern Warfare 2…
