Hi Jenn – If you haven’t already you may want to chat with the folks @Hak5 to see which tools can be used to pull off data from your drive(s) in your dead computer. Of course this means you’d have to another computer capable of running the tools with your old drive connected and of course you’ll need time (which nobody has). I recently did a similar task on my niece’s PC which died, since the drive still functioned I was able to get all her data off and onto her new computer. I’ll quit rambling for now and send you best wishes for the rest of your journey.
Structured topics are good, but there’s something to be said about free-form topics too. Please don’t give us too much structure in August! :-)
Some very popular podcasts out there tend to have little to no structure. I think free-form topics work best when you have someone that is very natural on camera, which of course, you are!
