So far PC shopping is terribly unfun. I prefer fun. A lot.

I would totally love to play G***tb**ters with you but unfortunately it’s a PS3 exclusive here in the UK! GRRR!
I didn’t think it was such a big deal that Sony had the exclusive (Wasn’t particularly excited for the game) but listening to you go on about it and seeing the gameplay make me want it now! (Plus I’d get to play with you!)

But alas… Sony ruin everyone’s fun, yet again.

You’ve got a real “Janine Melnitz” thing going on with those glasses. That’s taking Egon-love one step too far…

Gotta agree building ur own PC is so much more fun. Well most computer parts do come with some type of warrant, so technically a home built PC is under warranty. hope u get 2 built an awesome PC. ;)

Hello

Tell your folks not to worry about warranties if you build your own, what Mike said….

I just went through warranties with Asus, Antec, and Western Digital, all without any problems. They were all a pleasure to deal with, so definately go with them for power supplies, case, motherboard, and hard drive. Can you say Velociraptor? I knew you could….

Building your own box is the way we ‘nerds’ role, boxed PC’s are for people that only want to surf the net, mail and watch youtube. And then i dont even mention the extra money you pay for progams that are pre installed that you never use, thats the reason for me not to buy a new lap top now.

By the way tnx for the screenshot, i have that as a background on my Linux box now :)

I don’t know what the situation is in america/canada because I know that here in Europe our minimum warranties are longer. I built my own pc about 6 months ago and everything in it has 3 years warranty which is just as good as what I would have got if I had bought the PC.
