This might be the best news I’ve heard all week. Can I get a “woo” from the crowd? (you’ve been quiet lately but I know you are out there. I have stats to prove it!) ^_^
While it would be even more kinds of awesome if LucasArts released all of the Monkey Island games in a single package, I know we will be nickeled-and-dimed for the whole series if this ends up being a success. Somehow I’m ok with that since I am probably in love with Guybrush Threepwood. I’d even fight Elaine and LeChuck for him. It might be sad that this is the E3 news I am most looking forward to but it’s hard to beat beautiful writing combined with nostalgia! I really need to get my systems back online so I can spend the rest of my 360 points and pick up ActRaiser on the Wii, not to mention update to the latest firmware. I’ve really had a hankering to rebuild their world again and fight through the sequel that took a very odd departure that from the original. Sadly those SNES cartridges were stolen ages ago along with 15 other games, like Chrono Trigger. This still annoys me when I think about it. Oh, that reminds me. I need to pick up Punch Out!. I think that will even put me over the top and make me a Gold Member at Club Nintendo, too. I’m very curious to see what they will be sending out to people this year. They better ship to Canada.

Monkey Island was the best. The person responsible for not bringing forth a new one needs to be eliminated. He’s in the way.
Nice! It could possibly be related to the earlier rumour that Lucasarts is reviving an old franchise, maybe this is to gauge the interest in the Monkey Island series?
That’s it, I’m getting me an XBox 360!
