Childhood View

I wish I had really planned ahead and taken a similar photo back when I was a kid. Either way, I took a little detour the other day to return to the top of Centennial Hill and snapped a shot I’d been dreaming about for years. I love this place. I practically grew up in Centennial Park and it’s lovely to be back for a while. The skyline has changed pretty dramatically from the era I recall but the view still makes me happy :)

It took several tries to take this photo since other days it was too cloudy or too dark or my camera died right at the top. Oops. But, in the interest of honesty, here’s a shot that’s not zoomed in. I loved watching the city in the distance when I was younger. I still love it now. I also love having a car and not having to sneak around every time I want to go downtown ;)
