What a weird turn of events. I lucked out at a local video store today and picked up Super Swing Golf super duper cheap and as soon as I get home I get the news from a friend that Albatross 18, the game it was basically a port of, closed down!! D:
oh noes. Man, I had so many characters and tons of pang, a couple of astros, and I was a god, you hear me, A GOD. Well, I was ok but I loved it. There’s also this announcement and now the new home for the game at http://pangya.ntreev.net/. It’ll be awesome if they do manage to bring across the old character data since I doubt I’ll want to start again from scratch unless the update the game a lot and introduce more content and courses. Either way at least I finally have the Wii version that does not depend on companies maintaining servers and accounts forever and ever. I know people are crazy excited about the OnLive hullabaloo but I like to own my stuff, kthx.

Absolutely can’t stand golf in real life. But I do like the wii golf. I like it when you are in the cliff area. To each his or her own though.
