rejoicing in the little things

It seems like such a small insignificant thing but it has already make me so very happy. I had been calling the theatre for tickets to Sound of Music (auto-playing video warning) for days now and never got through since the line was always busy. Finally it dawns on me that I can buy the darn things online and, after several random refresh attempts and horsing around with the ticket options, I luck into front row seats on the night that I want. Score ^_^

I also make quite the discovery last night. Nikki likes to sleep where I usually lie down to watch tv. I would have loved to take these pictures with a real camera but I seem to have misplaced my charger so I had to resort to my iPhone and was pleasantly surprised by the results! No one is going to believe that I didn’t stage these photos but, I swear, it turns out my dog actually uses a freakin’ pillow!

I got the movie on DVD several years ago. I just love the scene in the early part where Judy is in the green hills singing. Sometimes when I am in the mountains here in Montana I feel like singing, but of course I’m too embarrassed unfortunately. Nothing like a live play. Live plays always seem to have a very strong energizing force that movies just can’t create. Your dog looks very cute with his pillow, although I would never use it again.

Where is your really cute picture of you when you got your hair cut way back when. The one with you in the red jacket at the mall with the really cute smile. Think about putting it back up. I don’t have mine anymore.

Aha, I found the red jacket close up but I thought there was another photo that was taken from a little farther out?

I was already a little sad that my favourite pillow case from ages ago was slowly disintegrating. Now that I know Nikki favours it I’m too much of a softie to take it back from her! Alas. As for pictures of that very ancient short haircut (hmm… I do seem to lose my mind and cut my hair short every few years like clockwork. I really have to not do that. Be a dear and stop me next time I even hint at such a thing) I’m afraid that was the only one I ever remember posting.

Glad you guys liked the photos :)

Nate, where are you located at? I assume somewhere in the western end:)
I’m over here in the NE corner….
