I know that some parts of the site have been in and out and that’s cause I have this need to break things in order to fix them. And then I wander off to play in the snow. My bad :)
So don’t mind if you refresh and nothing happens. I usually do fix things within 5 minutes of breaking it. However, my television might not be so lucky. I have been watching this past season of 24, a show I had avoided in the past with great effort, since my Dad is a big fan and we thought it’d be fun to compare notes. How do people NOT throw stuff at the tv during 24? This isn’t a rhetorical question, I honestly want to know! I’m sticking with it now cause I have to see how ridiculous this gets. The great smaller moments the show does have tend to be quickly pushed aside by some idiotic aide doing several stupid somethings which, again, make me want to throw things. I’ve no doubt the vast majority of people disagree with me but that’s cool. I like a lot of stuff that usually gets cancelled so I’m well aware that my tastes differ from the norm.

Yes, most of our favorite shows get canceled too:( Have you ever seen the Firefly series?
We’ve been watching 24 off and on, yes it gets ridiculous at times. You probably should have just watched season one and called it quits…..
And Monk in its last season as well D: At least I still have House :D
Gotta agree with Steve. First season of 24 brilliant. Second season great roller coaster ride but not as deep. Third season was the start of steady decline into schlock. I didn’t even finish season six. I’m afraid that show is done and done.
I’m on season 4 now. I only watch them all in a row over a couple of days because otherwise it just gets annoying having to wait a week to see what happens in the next hour. Sometimes it’s brilliant. Sometimes it’s just stupid. But I love the concept of the day from hell in real time. Not one of my favourite shows but worth 18 or 19 hours of non-stop viewing.
Hmmm. After this season I’m not sure I’d want to go back and see other hell days from 24. I’m still desperately hoping that Colm Feore is given something better to do here.
I think you just came in after the shark. The first season is really good.
