When my time runs out in a few days I’m gonna take at least a month off. As much as I love playing with my brother I find it more frustrating than fun and I can’t even put my finger on why. I enjoy soloing and even though I’m not restoration spec (went feral for a change cause I tear up everyone) I am never short of invites for pick-up groups. I’m just on the doorstep of 60 but I lost all interest in my hunter alt and definitely don’t want to play a priest again. Absence makes the heart grow fonder so perhaps after a break I’ll feel like going back and running more instances with my brother, the godly paladin. I’m really close to being exalted with Ironforge so I can get a ram to go with my nightsabers and horses. It’s pretty cool now that any class can ride all the mounts now. However, my Gnomeregan Exiles and Exodar rep is waaaay low so I don’t expect to be riding a mechanostrider or elekk any time soon.

My brother is a godly paladin. Have I mentioned that already? I do have to heal him once in a while when he takes on the entire population of Zul’Farrak at once but, DAMN, is that ever fun to watch. Really really fun. I don’t even help, to be honest. I mostly stand there and watch and laugh and toss in a heal and steal all the treasure. That sounds worse than it is, really. He utterly and completely bored with the Auction House and only uses it when he has to. This is a guy that vendored stacks and stacks of silver bars (/facepalm). This is where I come in. I send him all the profits from the stuff he sends me and I also give him a very generous cut of any profits I make from these instance runs to make sure he can get a good weapon, some enchants, all his training, etc. Even after all that stuff I’ve still got about 1.5k of my own. I <3 the auction house.

Next time we both get online together, maybe on the weekend, I will finally get myself Linken’s Boomerang. Even with all my other characters over the years I never picked this up since it involved trekking all over both continents and I was simply too impatient. The trinket isn’t going to help me much but, hey, gotta dig the references :)
