you know you are tired when

You know you are tired when people can vacuum stairs right next to your head and you don’t even hear it.

When I was a kid Mom could vacuum under my crib and I never cared but I do tend to be a much lighter sleeper these days. Living under the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor for a months a few summers ago was a very trying exercise with the constant-yet-sporadic truck noise.

Ahh, The Ambassador Bridge, now that brings back memories, rolling across the bridge on my first out of the country trip with 3 of my closest friends from highschool, and seeing the glow of the large orange sign like a marker from the gods that read simply “BEER STORE”. And a couple blocks on was the brand spanking new Casino Windsor, where i promptly lost about $2,700 to the very nice blackjack dealer.(worth every penny)

Youth, how did i survive?

Course, that was all like 12 years ago.
