GHOSTBUSTERS!!!*

Anyone that knows me knows that I’m one of those borderline-crazy Ghostbusters fan. I score very well when it comes to GB-related trivia and, while I lack any of the sweet line of figures these days, I still have some quirky official merchandise. Heck, I have a Japanese photobook from the movie’s release over there, ALL the trading cards, the games, the awesomely cool book, all the different VHS and DVD releases (can’t wait for bluray next year!), soundtracks, a spectrometer, a bunch of autographed production stills, etc. I apparently had too much money when I started high school and discovered online auctions. Anyway, I can’t wait for this game and I know I’ll pick it up for at least one system. Too early to decide about Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 at this point but I’m going to keep my eye on the Wii version, too. Whether or not it uses Motion Plus — less random flailing + more accurate responses = win — it would still be a blast to play with a proton pack with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk.

Remember people, Egon > *. Harold Ramis is pretty talented, too ;)

*the narrator is sorta lousy but he’s probably not in the game so I don’t care.

Hell yeah, Ghostbusters rules! I have seen both movies at least ten times, and the cartoons (I believe it was called “The real Ghostbusters”, because there was another cartoon called “Ghostbusters” that had nothing to do with the movies). I also used to have lots of the toys. I had all the action figures (that’s right, action figures, not dolls!), two proton cannons (one that launched foam darts and one that projected images of ghosts and made creepy sounds), the Ecto-1 and a lot of other stuff I can’t remember. Once, I even made my own ghost trap because I couldn’t find a toy of that! I believe I still have the C64 game, wich I must have played more than any game on the C64.

I noticed that you’ve hearted nearly all the Ghostbusters levels in Little Big Planet ^_^

Definitely looking forward to this.
