relaxed to the max

I haven’t had a real summer in many years so this last week was just amazing! While I did bring my school books home to Toronto with me I certainly never opened my knapsack to look at them :)

I spent 4.5 days just hanging out with my friends, lounging in a pool, and *gasp* shopping with my girlfriends. I got a bento box, some new chopsticks, and a simple green tanktop. As my mother so aptly stated, “You bought something green?? NEVAR!” I even had a friend drive in from an hour away and then I instantly put him to work with me stumbling through some co-op levels in N+. That game is evil, by the way. I want to meet the developers so I can kick them square in the nuts. We seriously stayed up until 5am going through the levels in various stages of consciousness and attentiveness. You know you are sliding into uselessness when you explode yourself on the nearest mine 6 times in a row. We totally would have gotten the ‘secret achievement‘ if it wasn’t restricted to single-player mode. But somehow we continued to play past those lapses and passed the first 8 co-op episodes before I really just couldn’t do it anymore. Next time, N+, next time…

As some of you noticed, I even managed to get my 360 online briefly so my gamerscore is now a far more respectable 9130. It’s actually 9225 right now but we’ll see where it’s at in another 2 weeks when I visit my parents again. I was so busy with my friends that I didn’t even get a chance to use the DRM tool to get all my licenses on my Elite. It’s probably for the best that I didn’t do it though since that’s something I’d probably want to get on camera since you can only do it once every 12 months. I’m terrified though. I feel that a week after I use it my Elite will bite the dust.
