Foot to Body: You suck

I think I pushed it a bit yesterday. Went for a run (on an indoor track that I didn’t even know we had cause it was super windy outside), then did a mini-step program with skipping before it was off to a power barbell class and then a new record low awful mealhall dinner before cycle-fit/spin class. I loved the run and step/skip. Powerbarbell was not my cup of tea but I certainly didn’t have any issues with it. The dinner was cold and just plain bad so I didn’t each much of it. After ten minutes on the bike I actually thought I was going to cry or puke or both. I just had nothing left. Not eating enough had something to do with it to be sure but I really thought I could handle the whole day. I went to bed rather afraid that I was gonna wake up in tears cause of the pain. Thankfully I was pretty ok aside from some sore shoulders and a very tender left foot.

Advice from mom: “Stay off it, stupid.”

I’m sure she meant ‘sweetheart’, of course. But walking to my class and then the mealhall was pretty much all the pressure I could handle putting on it today. My limp did subside by late evening so obviously it was the right thing to do. I feel bad about bailing on cycle-fit though. After how weak I was last night I wanted to come back strong and redeem myself especially since I will be unable to attend Wednesday’s class. Tomorrow I have a hockey game at 10:30 and that’s what I want to be ready to go for :)
