You just don’t see many ending screens like this these days!
I had a total blast playing Kororinpa and I’d recommend it to anyone with patience. If you are prone to controller throwing then avoid this game at all costs. Wiimotes are pricey. I definitely lack the hands of a surgeon but I still managed to make it through all the regular stages and I’m working my way back getting all the gold trophies and collectible green crystals for each stage. There’s also a separate board of puzzle/unique stages I’ve yet to enjoy. Aside from the overall cute factor — you can change your ball to a penguin, cat, dog, pig, etc. with cute noises as they roll. Or you can play with trickier and faster balls to increase the challenge and improve your finish time — the backgrounds are well animated and I loved the feel of each set of stages as well as the music and sounds.
What else can I say? I completely enjoyed the game. Every time I fell off the board I knew the fault was mine and not due to an unresponsive controller or a ‘cheap’ death. As you get used to the physics of the world and the balls you start to have fun and semi-randomly flipping the board can lead to amazing leaps of faith for killer times. With my class schedule the way it is right now I love that Kororinpa perfectly lends itself to short play sessions and yet you can feel like you accomplished something even if it’s just a better time or snagging a crystal. Good times. If you aren’t sure this is your cup of tea it’s still worth a rental to test yourself. Perfect for all ages too! :)
