I took a spinning class (sometimes known as CycleFit and a billion other names) for the first time ever this evening and I thought I was a-gonna die. I can’t say I enjoyed the experience and yet I still want to give it another shot on Wednesday. It’s bizarre. Especially considering that those seats were specially designed to inflict pain and I will likely spend the next two days loudly whining “ow, my ass” and people will take it horribly out of context. If I decide to keep going with this I will definitely invest in a gel seat cover from a bike shop or something similar to make the hurting stop. I’m also miffed at the gym’s recent decision to hand out towels only to varsity athletes contrary to what they’ve done every other semester previous. The only towels I own are about twice my height and not terribly conducive to nonchalantly carting around with you. What can I say? I like the comfort a big ass towel provides.
I have a weakness for items that have licensed characters on them but when it comes to towels 99.999999999% of the time it means that the towel in question will actually just move around water rather than absorb it and that makes it less than useful. Maybe I can find a nice green one somewhere.

Stick with it Jenn!
Personally, not a big fan of spinning classes, if you’re going to bike in my opinion, you should go out and bike, plus spinning makes you lose muscle, it just increases what most people nowadays consider fitness, pure endurance, but fitness is much more than that.
Big fan of the show though, hope you get more out soon, and hope college goes well.
I agree with Jack. Stick with it. You’re doing your body good which is the least I can say about mine. I try to play tennis when I can but that’s when there’s someone else around. I’ve seen the spinning classes and they’re not for the weak of heart. My kudos to you for trying it out.
