WoW Woes

I really need to stay away from gaming threads that mention World of Warcraft. For Serious. It’s 10 am on a Saturday and it’s probably a good thing that I can only use the school wifi right now. I was just reading a thread about the gearing up woes of 40+ enhancement Shamans and, hot damn, if I didn’t want to re-install and show’em how it’s done (though I still prefer Priests and Druids for my own play style).

;_;

Not that I can afford it right now anyway. University has a habit of making students bleed money and classes do take time if you want to do them properly. I’m still trying to get lunch from the foodhall to come in under $10 and this is after I learned to stop buying drinks there. No more WoW or Final Fantasy XI for me for a looooooooong time. To that effect, please stop sending me e-mails asking me to join up again and that you’ll twink me and be there whenever I want a quick run through VC/SM/etc. It’s just taunting me at this point and that’s plain mean.

I also had a dream that I bought the new PSP. I will admit that it’s very pretty and very light and the output to TV would be so super duper awesomely handy for OpenAlpha (and cause I have a cool TV these days) but EB isn’t running in a nifty trade like the one that let me upgrade my dying launch PS2 to the slim so I think I’m outta luck there. That might have pushed me over the edge into impusle territory. While I pretty much only use my PSP as a portable movie player these days I still have it on the 1.5 firmware just in case there’s some cool new homebrew thing I want to try outside of PSP Revolution.

    Yes, probably not a good idea to start up any MMO’s while your at school. They are way too time consuming and while they are fun..studies need to come first. But getting the new slim psp would be a cool thing, you can use it for music, movies and games..so that wouldn’t be so bad. Good luck with your classes, but do remember…always make time for you to have some fun too.

    Ouch, I know what you mean, I have to stay away from WoW. My school demands so much seeing as I am with the ‘Smart Kids.’ Positive is that I barley get homework… Negative is that when I do… I get over 4 hours of it… I Have to study ALOT, Because credits are what I is needing… And hearing people in my class going. “Yeah, I was leveling my 50, Got him to 51.” “Nice, I can come help you tonight.” “Me too.” “I’ll get on too,” “Thanks guys.” Just make me…. Arrg! I only play for about 2 hours on the weekends, I got to go to football on weekdays usually.

    Also got to stay away from Battlefield: 2, Because here how it goes:

    “Ahh better study…. Wait… One game of BF.”
    *5 hours later.*
    “Holy hell it’s 11!”
    *Get to school the next day half awake.*
    “You okay nick?”
    “Stay up… all night… studying… BF:2… BRAINWASHED ME!”
    *zzzzzz*
