Disconnected. Again.

I’m exceptionally miffed. I don’t care whether the hardware problem lies with the school or the cable company. I do care that I’m paying for a cable internet connection that has barely worked since the day I got it. I also care that they don’t even care that 8am to 5pm is a huge massive window that most students can’t deal with unless they are going to be skipping classes for the day. In order to book a time that I can actually be here for I now have to wait until next Thursday morning. My apologies to Matt who yet again caught me right after I hung up with Cogeco and found me in a rather foul mood :(

Right now I’m on school wifi but that hasn’t been working for me all that well, either. It seems to cut out frequently and I’m not the only one having that problem. By all appearances it looks like the school network was rather unprepared for the influx students with shiny new laptops/tablets to play with. It’s a little depressing that my brother can ‘borrow’ internet at his place and be online far more reliably than I can with a paid cable connection as well as the free university wifi!
