A Good Day

by Jenn on Thursday, August 30, 2007

So not only am I mostly unpacked but I took some new friends shopping (since it’s easier to carry groceries back to campus when you can stick them in the trunk) but I found the PS2 version of the Mega Man Collection for $4. I used to have the GameCube version with the jump and shoot buttons transposed. It was nigh unplayable to retrain those instincts we all hones as kids so I never played it. Now that I no longer shoot and fall off cliffs I was happy to jump right into Mega Man 2′s Wood Man stage to enjoy the best stage music ever. You know it’s true. The bad news is that I’m not as good as I was as a kid. It felt I was skating around the stage but still lots of fun. But mostly I’m happy to be settled in my new place. It’s probably the nicest room I’ve ever had on my own. High ceilings too boot! :)

I don’t get why people like that Woodman’s music. Dr. Willy’s Fortress Level 2 is soooo much better! To each his own, I guess :)

You gotta post up some pics of this place! Maybe even some of the area. Not from Canada and have no clue where your school is but it would be neat to see some pics from there.

Patiently awaiting the return of OA. :-)

Wrong! Wily Stage 1 has been scientifically proven to be the real best stage music ever.

As someone who recorded all the Mega Man 2 music onto a cassette, I have to say Woodman was the only one that got both me and my little brother to GET UP AND DANCE.
