After getting groceries today I finally had the courage to check the box and the little mouse did manage to escape :)
I will still be taking this up with Landlord Tim as soon as he shows up today.
You know what also lives? My RAID drives! Stupid me forgot that it was a motherboard controller and not a separate card thanks to help from Patrick from Toronto. It’s all ok now. I moved the contents of my external drive back to the main system last night and I’m formatting the external drive as I type this. Nice to have that all done. I’ve still got some futzing to do in Premiere but that’s not exactly a priority right now.
Yikes that little scenario would definitely had my heart rate up. While I totally see where you’re coming from, I always feel sorry for rodents whose only defense is running, mice and rats also raise my ire since they get into everything and leave waste everywhere. They make leaving food for our dogs outside impossible and if one should get into the house we can always look forward to several days of catching then cleaning. Haunta Virus is rampant out here so you just can’t take the chance. Glad there was a least a sorta happy end though.
