Seems fitting that I blog the dog for my first entry with the new theme.
One of the things I miss about Toronto is not hanging out with my dogs all the time. My brother is at home for the summer so at least they have some extra companionship that way. It’ll be weird for them in the fall when the house gets really quiet since my brother and I will be in Windsor.
Anyway, my dogs play with toys in very different ways. Shadow (the white-ish one) will cuddle them and protect them and carry them everywhere he goes. Nikki (red-fox-like) will promptly tear it apart in a spectacular fashion and will be damn proud of herself in the process. So as adorable as Shadow is with teddy bears we don’t let him carry one all that often because, inevitably, in the middle of the night Nikki will steal and kill it and much howling in sadness will commence. Still adorable in a way but less fun when you have to get up for work. My mom, for a lack of something better to do I guess, has started giving them toys again.
Shadow started with a fuzzy bone that has 3 squeakers in it. It was too hard for him to make squeak though he loved sitting there and licking it while we squeaked it for him. Then Nikki got a hold of it and busted all the squeakers. She still likes the toy though so we’re all thrilled with that. Now Mom found this squeaky duck that actually quacks. She told me about it on the phone the other day and was so happy with how much Shadow loves it. He has yet to put it down, apparently. He was especially proud of how he could make it quack all on his own (he’s getting really old and it’s hard). I demanded pics so my Dad used his blackberry to take and send me this.
Say it with me now, “awwwwwww” :)
Awwwwwww, That’s so adorable. My dog has a skunk toys that sings, He bites it.. It sings, And he starts howling with it… It’s really weird, I’ve yet to catch him on Camera… BUT I SHALL. Oh and by the way, Nice design. I hope you have fun in Windsor.
PS. You might want to take off know it all Mr WordPress’s know it all post :P.
Done! I got called away after I posted. The site is still lacking while I move things over but I’m glad you like the design so far. Eventually I will have an actual photo in the header, too, but that probably won’t be for a while yet.
That’s good to hear, I understand it’s hard to multi-task with the moving and blogging and whatnot. It’s a good idea you’re changing tho site logo picture. Because at the moment, It has nothing to do with anything… >.>
You might want to put a picture of yourself up there, Maybe your face on the right, And you holding up your favorite game to the left of your face, I don’t know just thinking, Since it is about YOU and YOUR life, Or maybe you with your dogs, Maybe you could get some “1337″ Photoshop stuff going on. Just giving ideas. ^^
Hmm. Maybe I should keep it then. Nothing I say has to do with anything anyway! You can always watch old eps of OA and CFH if you want to see me holding up games ;)
When I do get the guts to stick an image of myself up there it probably won’t be with something I shot myself. Maybe on a trip back to Toronto I’ll bug some photographer friends for help. In the meantime I’ll go around and take some pics of the town. We do have a huge bridge to Detroit lying around.
I don’t personally want to “see me holding up games ;)” I just thought it would be neat, But i can’t Watch G4 anymore! When we switched to bell the operator, Which we could barley understand said they would give us all our channels back and they haven’t given us G4 back… So we need to call them back.
Well, Have fun exploring to town… Remember, Bring batteries/Film. :P, Right now i have to go fight my dog for a seat on the couch… To the couch!
